They certainly do to me, I think I have sounded like a broken record at one point. Feelings of overwhelm and stress seems to come part and parcel with our lives. But, as much as we adore our families, friends and work, it can be exhausting always being in demand and you just want more time. More time to get things done, more time with your children, and more time for you.
Family and work time is very important, but so is time for you too, without judgement and without guilt. This is easier said than done though, right? This is where I can help. I can offer you the support you need to bring structure, reclaim your identity, learn to love yourself and to lose the guilt.

My Story

MY STORY
I became a mum for the first time in 2010. A shock to the system us an understatement! Not just the sleep deprivation but that this little person needed me 24/7, something I really was not used to. Slowly, though, I found my feet and took the opportunity to begin a psychology degree after being made redundant. Then, in 2011, my second son was born. An 18-month age gap between the two. Well, if my first born wasn’t enough of a shock, two so close together completely knocked me off of my feet and I was soon diagnosed with post-natal depression. I was prescribed medication, which helped, and advised to look at talking therapies. I went away and did some research and, as I have always been a spiritual person, I was led towards energy healing and holistic therapy.
And so began my journey to becoming a holistic therapist. I first qualified in Reiki healing and went on to qualify in crystal healing therapy. Both of these now feature in my everyday life and in my workshops and courses. Learning the principles through my holistic training and implementing them into my life gave me a whole new perspective and a whole host of coping strategies. This completely changed my outlook and saw me through some very hard and dark times. My boys are now 7 and 6, I completed my psychology degree, started my own holistic practice and also, now, studying a masters degree is philosophy. I can owe all of this to the strategies and principles I have learned over the last 7 years.
I have learned that asking for help is not a weakness. We are not superhuman, we are regular women, trying to live our own lives, with balance and without guilt. I want to help you. I want to share with you what I have learned and help you to bring structure and calm into your life. You can love yourself, rise above judgement and lose the guilt.

We have all seen the holistic gurus, living completely naturally, meditation every morning or yoga before breakfast. As a busy mother, I know that this is just not possible, it’s completely unrealistic, however, attractive the prospect may be.
What is possible, though, is to make small, realistic changes to your lifestyle or self-care routine and your sense of wellbeing will increase, resulting in a happy, healthy you.
